Our Story

In 2021, I was standing in my kitchen when I had a realization I couldn’t ignore. Our community had everything you could need for a wedding-venues, florists, photographers-but there was nowhere to find your dress.

Not in Whitley County, and not nearby in a way that felt truly intentional or personal.

So I started talking to women who had recently gone through the experience. What I heard stayed with me.

Many were settling for big box stores simply because they were close. Others shared how they walked out to show their dress while strangers looked them up and down-some not even trying to hide their reactions. Almost all of them described feeling rushed, pressured, or like they were just another appointment in a busy day.

It was disheartening, especially because I had experienced something completely different myself. I’m originally from Cincinnati, and I had been to a private bridal boutique where the entire experience felt calm, thoughtful, and centered around the bride.

After hearing those stories, I knew our community deserved that same kind of experience, and I decided to create it. Columbia City Bridal was built with intention from the very beginning.
Every detail, every decision, every part of the experience was designed to feel different.
When you walk through the doors, the space is entirely yours. There are no overlapping appointments, no shared rooms, no distractions. Just you, your guests, and the moment.

The experience is meant to feel calm, personal, and unrushed. You’re guided through the process, but never pressured. Each gown is thoughtfully fitted so you can truly see how it’s meant to look and feel.

I wanted to bring a big-city level of experience into a small-town setting-something elevated, yet welcoming. A place where brides don’t have to travel to feel taken care of.

Today, Columbia City Bridal is exactly that. It’s a space where brides can slow down and enjoy the moment.
Where they feel cared for, confident, and excited about what they’ve chosen.
Because at the end of the day, this was never just about opening a bridal shop. It was about creating something our community was missing,
and making sure every bride has a place where she never has to settle.

Meet Brynn

The heart and hustle behind Columbia City Bridal. When I’m not at the boutique, I’m a teacher, a wife and mom, cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, rewatching The Office, and finding new ways to elevate the experience for my brides.

Warmly,
Brynn
